In this conversation Gavin and Cody discuss the book of Micah. Read those seven chapters, listen to the audio of the conversation, and then chip in on the comments section below with your own thoughts on the Scripture and responses to these three questions:
- What word, phrase, or theme most resonated with you personally as you read this section of Scripture?
- What does this portion of Scripture invite us to as a community of disciples?
- If you’re sitting down with these chapters, what drink or snack would pair best with the reading?
Next week we discuss Nahum.

Micah– what a book! Lots of telling it like it is. Anger. I think “righteous anger” is something along the lines of Chapter 7 where those who kill, accept bribes, and even turn against family are people that we should be angry about their behavior. I think when we are angry about things just because they interfere with our own desires/needs this is not righteous, like poor drivers, red lights, bad grocery experiences, etc. Tom
