Hello friends! In this conversation Erik and Gavin discuss the big finale of Luke’s Gospel – the passion and resurrection of Jesus – in chapters 22-24. Read that section of Scripture, listen in to the audio of the chat, and then chip in on the comments section below with your own thoughts on the Scripture and any responses to these three questions:
- What word, phrase, or theme most resonated with you personally as you read this section of Scripture?
- What does this portion of Scripture invite us to as a community of disciples?
- If you’re sitting down with these chapters, what drink or snack would pair best with the reading?
Next week, we begin some reflections for Lent on the book of Jeremiah with chapters 1-9.

I liked the encouragement to keep our eyes open, and look for personal encounters with the Resurrected Jesus. I don’t always keep my eyes open to Jesus, in various circumstances. But when I take time to stop and check around and in myself (is that the “steamboats”?), He is ALWAYS there. I want to keep my eyes open, so I can see Him, and run to Him instead of pulling out my sword to try to chop off someone’s head. Jen.
