Hello friends! In this conversation Erik, Cody, and Gavin discuss Luke 15:1-19:27. Sorry that the audio quality isn’t fantastic…. We needed to record remotely this week! But the conversation is good! So read that section of Scripture, listen in to the audio of the chat, and then chip in on the comments section below with your own thoughts on the Scripture and any responses to these three questions:
- What word, phrase, or theme most resonated with you personally as you read this section of Scripture?
- What does this portion of Scripture invite us to as a community of disciples?
- If you’re sitting down with these chapters, what drink or snack would pair best with the reading?
Next week, we chat on Luke 19:28-21:38.

Hi:
I don’t know how to wrap my head around all of the parables…..the familiar ones that I have heard many sermons about seem to make sense. But those “off the wall” ones are perplexing. I am going to follow Cody’s suggestion to read this section in The Message.
The urgency of the section also spoke to me…..there seems to be less and less time (at least for me at my greatly advanced age) to find/reach/influence the lost souls to turn toward God and His Kingdom. I pray that God’s Spirit is able to speak through me and my life, even though I may not even be aware of the work He is doing.
Wagon Wheels! Did they ever make those in dark chocolate? Served with a carton of Vico…..the best!
