In this conversation Erik, Cody, and Gavin discuss the book of Nehemiah, chapters 1-7! Read those chapters and listen to the audio of the conversation, and then chip in on the comments section below with your own thoughts on the Scripture and responses to these three questions:
- What word, phrase, or theme most resonated with you personally as you read this section of Scripture?
- What does this portion of Scripture invite us to as a community of disciples?
- If you’re sitting down with these chapters, what drink or snack would pair best with the reading?
Next week we will finish Nehemiah – chapters 8 -13! Read it and join the conversation!

Oct 1st: Catching up on Scripture Convos. Nehemiah is good for showing how a community can come together and work toward a common goal. The basement at Faith looks good, with all of the contributions made by a lot of people. The parking lot fence looks lovely, and presents a nice picture for our surrounding neighbours. The faith community coming together to love and support the Reimers has also been heartwarming…..every little thing that each and every person can bring to God as a prayer/sacrifice/service/offering, helps so very much when God puts it all together in achieving his goal for saving His Creation. We are honoured to be included in His Work.
