Jen’s comment: I find it interesting that Sarai offers Abraham the “forbidden fruit”, similar to how Eve offered the fruit to Adam. Did Abraham not stop and remember that story, before he tried to complete God’s work and engaged with Hagar?
Tom’s comment: It is interesting that the “Sign of the covenant” is in a (very) private part of the body and not something that anyone can see offhand.
