Tom: my emotions for Maundy Thursday were grief, and mystery (is that an emotion?) Grief is obvious, in that someone you love is going to die. Mystery in that it seems to me that the LORD could have pardoned us from our sins without needing to sacrifice his son, and that I don’t know why this needed to happen. I guess it comes from the saying that we cannot know the mind of the LORD.
