Winnipeg Covenant 
Another stellar look at the inner working of the pastors’ minds. I think Gavin could market his synopsis to lazy Bible school students, have two levels, high school and college level! I was struck by the verse in chapter 6: “Do your work cheerfully, as though you serve the Lord.” It is always easier to work when you are cheerful and it does make people wonder what you are up to!! I think the whole letter feels like a Grandpa talk to his family, telling them the family history, sharing his wisdom and telling them his hope for them in the future. The only food pairing has to be soft ice cream machine and huge number of assorted toppings, with strong coffee!
